The Digital Trends Media Group (DTMG) team continues to grow, and the latest member of the team is Brian Quinn, who will take on the position of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this role, Quinn will be responsible for leading the revenue teams for all DTMG brands. This includes sales, licensing, and commerce partnerships. He will assume the role effective April 29th.
Quinn has decades of experience working in advertising, sales, revenue-centric, and executive-level roles. He previously held a CRO role with Triad Retail Media where he oversaw all global revenue operations for the company, which handles online media programs for some of the top-leading e-commerce retailers. Prior to this new role with DTMG, he was global head of advertising with Vibenomics, a Mood Media Company. He has also held positions as chief growth officer at Pixability and president of OpenSlate.
One of Quinn’s most notable passion projects, however, is serving as founder and the first president of 212NYC, New York’s digital media club. The membership-based club holds panel events and signature programs for top minds in the digital media industry. Quinn also earned the AdTech Industry Achievement Award in 2015 for his work in the advertising space.
Already familiar to the DTMG family, Quinn worked in the past with Scot McLernon, DTMG’s previous CRO. While McLernon recently retired from the role, he continues as a company advisor.
“Brian’s love for quality content is surpassed only by his passion for building and leading great sales teams,” comments McLernon. “As Digital Trends’ executive advisor, I’m thrilled to be working with Brian again and welcome him into this great team.”
"I am so excited to join DTMG as Chief Revenue Officer,” adds Quinn. “As an independent and innovative publisher of unique content and insights around technology and entertainment, DTMG is a key resource for consumers. I am looking forward to creating high impact commercial solutions for leading brands that will connect with and inspire the millions of people in our community."
Ian Bell, CEO of Digital Trends Media Group, adds, “Brian Quinn brings years of experience to the DTMG sales teams. Quinn strikes the perfect balance between being content-minded and delivering results for our partners. Getting him on the team and working with Scot McLernon and the rest of the sales and editorial leaders is going to have a huge impact.”
