The Viddy Awards “honor video excellence in a digital world.” The project won a Platinum Award, the competition’s highest honor. Digital Trends Media Group joins a list of past winners that includes Dell,Fidelity Investments, and Microsoft.
“I've been over-joyed by the reception of this series,” says Ian Bell, co-founder and CEO of Digital TrendsMedia Group. “Working with Porsche to bring this project to life and to encourage scientific curiosity and exploration has been so rewarding. I am glad to see that a series that resonated with our team so much had a similar effect on others.”
This is the second award that Digital Trends has won for the series, to date. Earlier this month, the project also received a dotCOMM award.
The publishing company was also recognized with an Honorable Mention at the Viddy Awards for their support of the nonprofit, The Last Mile. Through Digital Trends Media Group’s DEI Award program, theyprovided no-cost creative and ad support during a Juneteenth fundraiser hosted by Los Angeles-based production house, EffinFunny.
